Overview

MM&D are recruiting a PHP Developer to lead on an exciting new project which will give the successful candidate the opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity for web development.

Working as part of our team you will have a hands on role for all major projects, working closely with our in-house creative team.

You’ll need strong experience in building commercial sites and an enthusiasm and an aptitude for learning more. You will be taking shared responsibility for the backend development of all new and existing online projects. You will also need good communication skills as you will be required to liaise directly with clients from time to time.

Daily Tasks

• Front-end web development; using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Javascript and related technologies.
• Backend web development; creating dynamic content that interacts with MySQL databases using PHP to sit with the front-end development.
• The extension and maintenance and upkeep of our current client websites to ensure their smooth running.

Essential Requirments

• HTML5 and CSS3
• PHP
• MySQL database design + creation
• JavaScript / jQuery
• Ecommerce and payment gateways
• Communicating with in-house team and clients
• Server Maintenance
• Adobe Creative Packages
