Background
It is rare a client comes to MMD looking to have fun with social media, but that was the case with West of Ireland based De Facto.
De Facto is a 100% natural shaving oil and underwent a major rebrand in January 2019. Since they initially launched as Total Shaving Solution in 1996, the company had sold their product around the globe. The rebrand was the first major change they had underwent in this time.
De Facto were looking to disrupt the market which was dominated by global brands. They knew their product was the best on the market and they were keen to promote it with a sense of fun.
MMD manage all social media accounts for De Facto, along with email marketing and graphic design requirements. The new brand had proved popular with customers, with online sales for the first six months of 2019 already overtaking what was sold for the whole of 2018.
